COMMON FINANCIAL DATA

Ocean Common Financial Data module is a part of the system package called Ocean Standardization and this is a central point where the common data used by financial package modules are used .

The data stored in this module are as follows: foreign currency exchange lists, accounting periods, reporting period, Conditions on payments and ordering, repayment plans and other finance related data. The data are entered only through this module and they are at disposal to all financial modules.

FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES

Foreign currency exchange lists – operations: entry, verification and review.
Char of accounts: Structure - Segments
     Presentation on account where it is used, obligatoriness, predefined values for an account
     Sub-analytics (no limit on kinds of sub-analytics, defining of one kind of sub-analytic for an account), no limits on hierarchy,
Operations: 
     chart of accounts entry  (account sub-analytics, segments for account/group of accounts), predefined segments, 
     additions, 
     defining of links between charts of accounts
Accounting periods - operations: 
     Opening, accounting period changes, closing, change of the current period
Reporting periods – Characteristics:
     Many active periods at a time point
     Automatic opening of reporting period,
     Reporting period options (week, month, quarter, year), 
     Change of unopened periods, closing reporting period. 
Reporting periods – operations: defining, changing, closing,
Payment conditions – indebtement allocation characteristics (own or buyers), distribution of received funds
Payment condition management:
    Terms, percentage of the amounts calculated
    One or more debtors, Additional calculation subject, date of liability/receivable
    Flexible relationship between Payables and Receivables
Repayment plans: transactions, repayment plan defining, repayment plan calculation
